- 中国学生在 Vocabulary Practice 中极易混淆 certain 的两个含义。受母语负迁移影响，学生常将其一律理解为「确定的」（sure），而忽略其在文中表示「特定的」（specific, not all）的用法。课上应明确对比：*He is certain that he knows the answer.（确定） vs. Certain foods can help you lose weight.（特定），并要求学生分别造句。
- 在 Reading Comprehension 的 B 部分（Evaluating Statements）中，学生常把 False 和 Not Given (NG) 混为一谈。教师需强调：False 是文章信息与题目矛盾，而 NG 是文章根本没提。例如原文提到 Kraus 是研究负责人，但没提研究人员是否会弹奏乐器，因此相关表述应选 NG 而非 F。
- 在完成 Reading 3A 的 Summarizing 摘要填空时，学生容易遗漏动词的第三人称单数变化。例如填入 distract 时，主语是 music（第三人称单数），必须写成 distracts。课上应提醒学生先划出空格前的主语，再决定动词形式。
